Jack Stratton

I have been making and showing paintings for nearly 45 years, both locally and nationally, since receiving my BFA in Painting at UNC Greensboro in 1977. I retired from the Weatherspoon Art Museum in 2010, where I worked for 20 years as a preparator and chief art handler for the collection, preceded by 10 years as a bookbinder for the UNCG Library. Currently I teach drawing and watercolor classes at the Art Alliance Greensboro, an organization sponsored by the city of Greensboro and work freelance as an art handler, installer and curator.
