I have been an artist my whole life, that is, someone who has to create to be happy and content
with herself. I have used every medium; fiber, wood, metal, paper, plastic, you name it I have
used it. My journey with clay started as a k-5 art teacher using clay with my students which was
wonderful for them and a ton of work for me. I lost my husband suddenly, moved away and lost art for a while until I found a wonderful community clay studio where I found a love of making art again. I have worked the past 4 years developing my own style and creating functional and non-functional pottery for four shops in North Carolina.I have a studio in my garage in Benson, NC. My sister, and Mother and I share a small horse farm together where we have fun, riding, swimming, doing puzzles and sharing our life together.
