Marcia is known for her tongue-in-cheek portrayals of her kooky yet prosaic life.  Originally from Speedway, Indiana, she majored in Painting at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, where she now resides. 

Not a natural born animal lover, over the years Marcia has been introduced to some sweet, neurotic and lovable dogs, who have wormed their way into her heart and her paintings.  Also, some not-so-lovable cats have pounced and clawed their way in too.

An award-winning painter, she is widely collected throughout New England and is currently exhibiting at the Nahcotta Gallery in Portsmouth, NH, The Barn at Todd Farm, Rowley, MA and Zenobia in Ipswich, MA.
